Data Engineer - HR support project (m/f/n)

InPost is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our HR support project, focusing on transforming complex and fragmented datasets into reliable business insights. You will collaborate with HR, Finance, and international stakeholders to improve data quality, support system integrations, and build scalable solutions that drive informed decision-making across our European operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data solutions using Databricks, Apache Spark, SQL, and Python.
• Identify root causes of data inconsistencies and implement robust data quality, validation, and governance mechanisms.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical data mappings and process documentation.
• Partner with HR and Finance teams to support large-scale data migrations and system integrations.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance development productivity and solve complex technical challenges.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark in production environments.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for large-scale data transformation.
• Proven ability to manage complex, incomplete, or messy data sets.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in both Polish and English (C1+).
• Understanding of GDPR and data privacy principles.
