Data Business Analyst

RemoDevs is seeking an experienced Business/Data Analyst to join a critical Customer Ledger Migration initiative for a banking client. This fully remote role focuses on bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring data integrity and operational transparency throughout the migration lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate migration requirements, project scope, and manage JIRA workflows to ensure timely delivery.
• Analyze and validate complex migration data while identifying and resolving data quality issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive Power BI dashboards to track migration progress, reconciliation status, and operational KPIs.
• Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable functional and technical requirements.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, data engineering, and reporting stakeholders.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of professional experience as a Business or Data Analyst within complex project environments.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in SQL for data extraction, validation, and reconciliation tasks.
• Advanced practical experience with Power BI, including building data models, reports, and visualizations.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and document requirements throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Expertise in Excel, including complex formulas and pivot tables, alongside experience with JIRA and Confluence.
