Data Architect with Travel Experience

DataArt is seeking a Principal-level Data Architect to join our global Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will design and guide the implementation of robust data solutions specifically tailored for the travel industry, bridging the gap between complex technical requirements and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive direct communication with business stakeholders to align data strategies with organizational goals.
• Lead the end-to-end implementation of data solutions, from initial requirements gathering to successful go-live.
• Elaborate on technical aspects for development teams and justify architectural decisions.
• Participate in the full sales cycle, including pre-sales activities and solution architecture assessments.
• Guide clients through complex data transformation initiatives to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Architecture or Data Engineering roles.
• Proven background in Data Governance, Data Management, and cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Deep expertise in data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake or Databricks and strong SQL proficiency.
• Specific professional experience within the travel domain.
• Excellent communication skills with a track record in sales or pre-sales environments.
