Data Analyst

Jobgether is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join their team and take ownership of the fraud analytics side of a growing user segmentation system. In this role, you will analyze behavioral and fraud-related signals to distinguish legitimate users from suspicious activity, directly supporting product decisions and user verification strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Review and continuously refine fraud signals, adjusting indicators to distinguish suspicious activity from legitimate users.
• Analyze signals such as IP spoofing, VPN usage, and unusual behavioral patterns to identify potential fraudulent activity.
• Own the fraud-related components of the user segmentation system and monitor segment performance over time.
• Partner with product and data teams to determine appropriate verification approaches for different markets.
• Investigate users flagged for manual review and identify opportunities to make the review process more efficient.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience using data to investigate fraud and influence fraud detection or prevention decisions.
• Experience designing, refining, or evaluating fraud signals, user segmentation frameworks, or detection rules.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate complex or ambiguous user behavior using data.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to turn analysis into actionable solutions.
• Professional working proficiency in English with strong communication skills.
