Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Algorithm Development: Create robust algorithms to extract disease-relevant features from diverse sensor data (touchscreen, accelerometer, audio, text) collected during remote testing.

• Psychometric Analyses: Evaluate feature reliability, group differentiation (such as disease stages), collinearity, and correlation with traditional clinical assessments.

• Vendor Management: Validate third-party data completeness and perform comparative analyses between external and in-house remote testing datasets.

• Scientific Communication: Present findings internally and contribute to scientific abstracts and manuscripts for global conferences.

Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, MatPlotLib) and development workflows (Jupyter notebooks, virtual environments).

• Strong coding practices focused on robustness and reproducibility, including git, unit testing, peer code reviews, and agile methodologies.

• Solid understanding of group comparisons, correlation analysis, and linear mixed models.
  Ability to deal with real-world data, investigate the reasons for missing or erroneous values, and connect with other teams to resolve issues.

• Familiarity with distributed, high-performance computing environments, ETL workflows, and the Unix command line.

• Excellent English skills and the ability to thrive within a hybrid, dynamic team environment.

• Expertise in one or more of the following areas is a plus: time series analysis, signal processing, image processing, natural language processing.
