Data Analyst/ Data Engineer

emagine Polska is looking for a skilled Data Analyst/Data Engineer to join a dynamic project focused on developing a greenfield MVP for an energy startup. You will play a crucial role in designing an area calculation tool that assesses energy usage and models business cases for local energy communities, working entirely in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust data processing pipelines using Python.
• Perform complex data cleansing and modeling, specifically focusing on time series data.
• Collaborate closely with the project team to support the development of dashboards and frontend components.
• Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to support core project objectives.
• Ensure all data processes remain compliant with GDPR and established data governance standards.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Python programming, with a strong emphasis on the pandas library.
• Proven track record in data cleansing and advanced data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills combined with meticulous attention to detail.
• Fluency in English, allowing for effective communication within an international team.
• Prior experience or familiarity with energy or utilities sector data is considered a significant advantage.
