Data Analysis Engineer (Poland-based)

Itransition is seeking a skilled Data Analysis Engineer to join our team and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of complex data systems. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high data standards while working on innovative projects for global industry leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and test ETL/ELT workflows to ensure data integrity across various pipelines.
• Develop and maintain test scripts using Python and PyTest to automate data quality checks.
• Perform complex SQL queries to validate large datasets and ensure consistency.
• Collaborate within an Agile environment using tools like JIRA and Confluence to track progress and documentation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data dashboards to ensure accurate reporting for stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience in Python and PyTest for test scripting.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working on data-centric or analytics-focused projects.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, manipulating, and validating large-scale datasets.
• Hands-on experience with dbt and Snowflake platforms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher.
