Data & Visualization Engineer with Snowflake, Analytics Platform

DataArt is seeking a skilled Data & Visualization Engineer to join our analytics-focused team. In this role, you will design robust data models and develop insightful dashboards, ensuring a consistent source of truth for stakeholders while optimizing reporting performance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build data models connecting the Snowflake data warehouse to downstream analytics layers.
• Develop and optimize data transformation logic, including views, schemas, and staging areas.
• Design and develop dashboards with a focus on data storytelling, visual design, and user experience.
• Build analytics solutions using BI tools such as Power BI and Looker based on stakeholder needs.
• Contribute to data governance activities, including naming conventions and security compliance.

Requirements

• Experience with Snowflake and advanced SQL, including query optimization and schema design.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Proven experience with modern BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Knowledge of dashboard design principles and user-focused data visualization.
• Practical experience working in AI-assisted development settings using GenAI tools.
