Udacity, an Accenture company, is seeking experienced Cybersecurity Technical Mentors to join our global team as independent contractors. We are dedicated to providing high-quality upskilling opportunities and are looking for experts to support our learners in mastering essential cybersecurity skills.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct personalized 1:1 video sessions to address learner questions and review project submissions.
• Lead technical deep-dive sessions using presentations to explain complex concepts and project requirements.
• Host group Q&A sessions via Slack or video to provide ongoing support to the learning community.
• Foster a positive and effective learning environment for students globally.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including network, application, and system security.
• Knowledge of threat detection, vulnerability assessment, risk management, and security frameworks like NIST or ISO 27001.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for mentoring others.
• Flexibility to work part-time as an external contractor.
