Cybersecurity Engineer

McCormick Shared Services is seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Engineer to join our global team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our people and systems remain securely connected to the internet and internal applications, managing the Zscaler platform to provide robust, Zero Trust security across our entire digital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, optimize, and automate the full Zscaler suite, including ZIA and ZPA.
• Design and support secure network and cloud architectures, focusing on Zero Trust access and traffic forwarding.
• Partner with infrastructure and cloud teams to integrate security into new deployments and business initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve complex security, connectivity, and access-related issues.
• Manage solution lifecycle activities, including upgrades, policy optimization, and capacity planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with ZIA/ZPA, secure traffic forwarding, and Zero Trust architecture.
• Strong understanding of hybrid and cloud network design and troubleshooting complex connectivity issues.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or PowerShell for automation and platform management.
• Ability to analyze traffic logs and align security controls with frameworks like NIST or ISO 27001.
