Cybersecurity Engineer (m/f/n)

Shimi Sp. z o.o. is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join a critical public sector project. This role focuses on maintaining high-security standards and operational excellence within a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Capture business requirements and coordinate service changes with stakeholder teams across various client sectors.
• Act as a Service Owner or Service Delivery Manager for designated technical services, overseeing strategy and daily operations.
• Serve as a Site Reliability Engineer for infrastructure, operating systems, container runtime environments, and networking.
• Lead incident and problem management processes for critical technology platforms.
• Customize and integrate cybersecurity COTS platforms and tools within the Cyber Security Operations Centre portfolio.
• Configure GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including automated infrastructure provisioning and security testing integration.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional experience in Cybersecurity Engineering, DevSecOps, or SRE roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SRE practices, including OS, networking, and container orchestration.
• Solid background in security engineering and integrating COTS platforms within a CSOC environment.
• Deep knowledge of GitLab CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• EU Citizenship is mandatory due to public sector compliance regulations.
• Fluent English proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
