Cyber Security Analyst

TechBiz Global is seeking a dedicated Cyber Security Analyst to join a client team focused on providing managed security services. You will play a critical role in the Optimization Engineering & Analytics team, protecting system resources from cyber threats and ensuring the security of end-user environments.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, escalate, and assist in the remediation of critical information security incidents.
• Perform real-time alert monitoring and analyze security event data from network and endpoint environments.
• Develop and maintain automated playbooks for common information security threats to streamline incident response.
• Integrate new security platform functionality with existing systems and facilitate the remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
• Provide client-facing support and assist with the deployment and management of endpoint defense solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years specifically in Cyber Security.
• Advanced experience with operating systems such as Microsoft, MacOS, or Linux.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, SSL/TLS, and HTTP protocols, along with network analysis skills.
• Foundational scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Strong understanding of common malware threats, attack methodologies, and security frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
