Cyber Security Analyst

Sigma Software is seeking a motivated Cyber Security Analyst to join a global project focused on real-time threat detection and bot mitigation. In this role, you will collaborate directly with enterprise clients to analyze web traffic, identify malicious patterns, and neutralize online threats using advanced data analytics platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate advanced and persistent attacks using data analysis and data science tools.
• Analyze web traffic to detect unidentified threats and reduce false positives using Elasticsearch and BigQuery.
• Research, design, and continuously enhance detection mechanisms to stay ahead of evolving threats.
• Provide real-time technical support to global customers, delivering professional and timely incident responses.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D teams to optimize detection and mitigation capabilities.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in data analysis within cybersecurity or fraud detection domains.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, aggregations, window functions, and subqueries.
• Technical understanding of web technologies and client–server architecture such as APIs, HTTP, and basic HTML/JavaScript.
• Experience with SIEM systems and strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong English communication skills and experience in professional customer support.
