Cyber Detection & Response Engineering Lead Expert

Link Group is seeking a Cyber Detection & Response Engineering Lead Expert to drive advanced security operations and strategic transformation. In this role, you will design pragmatic security solutions, leverage AI-driven technologies to enhance detection and response capabilities, and provide expert advisory to clients while leading multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive solutions across security monitoring, detection engineering, incident response, and automation.
• Apply AI-driven technologies to improve detection accuracy and investigation speed while ensuring robust human oversight.
• Guide the implementation and management of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and XDR platforms.
• Translate complex business requirements into strategic security roadmaps and target operating models.
• Lead, mentor, and review the work of consultants to foster technical growth and practice excellence.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in cybersecurity detection and response, SOC operations, or incident response.
• Proven hands-on delivery expertise across multiple CDR domains including SIEM, security automation, and architecture design.
• Demonstrated track record of leading complex cybersecurity engagements and multidisciplinary project teams.
• In-depth understanding of AI applications within cybersecurity, including validation needs and security risks.
• Strong experience in business development, including proposal writing, RFP responses, and effort estimation.
• Fluent English communication skills with the ability to present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders.
