CTO & Co-founder (Robotics Automation)

Red Sky is seeking a visionary CTO & Co-founder to join an early-stage startup focused on developing a cutting-edge automation platform driven by physical AI and robotics. You will serve as the primary technical leader, responsible for designing, sourcing, and adapting hardware while bridging the gap between complex robotics engineering and commercial viability.

Key responsibilities

• Architecting and building the MVP of the robotics automation platform by integrating Physical AI intelligence with physical hardware.
• Defining the tech stack, software/hardware architecture, and product scalability roadmap.
• Recruiting, leading, and mentoring a team of robotics engineering specialists while driving the physical AI strategy.
• Establishing rigorous hardware-software co-development workflows, including CI/CD pipelines for robotics and simulation-to-real testing frameworks.
• Co-managing the company with the commercial co-founder to align technical strategy with business goals.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of leadership experience in deep-tech startups or robotics companies.
• Extensive hands-on expertise in robotics engineering, including mechatronics, kinematics, sensor integration, and embedded systems.
• Proven experience in building scalable physical automation platforms and deep-tech architecture from scratch.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on pragmatic execution and rapid physical prototyping.
• Fluency in both Polish and English.
