Crisis Management Specialist

CUNY TV is seeking a dedicated Crisis Management Specialist to join our Business Resilience division. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a robust business resilience framework designed to minimize the risks of operational interruptions while collaborating with global business units and corporate functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive processes and controls to protect business services and critical information assets.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to prepare for, manage, and respond to various incidents and crises.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure organizational readiness and effective communication during high-pressure situations.
• Maintain and refine crisis management protocols to align with evolving business needs and industry standards.

Requirements

• A degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in Incident Response, Emergency Management, Crisis Management, or Risk Management.
• Strong foundational knowledge of crisis and incident management concepts.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to influence others, drive action, and build trust-based relationships with stakeholders.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
