CRECE Undergraduate Research Intern

The Center for Research on Early Childhood Education (CRECE) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking motivated undergraduate research interns to join our team. This fully remote position offers students the opportunity to contribute to impactful research projects focused on improving early learning experiences for children aged 0-8, their families, and their communities.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with faculty members and graduate students on ongoing research initiatives.
• Assist in data collection, analysis, and documentation related to early childhood education studies.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of research materials.
• Proactively engage with project tasks, ask questions, and seek guidance to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate student enrolled in the School of Education at UW-Madison.
• Demonstrated interest in researching issues related to early childhood education.
• Must meet at least one of the following criteria: from a low-income household, first-generation college student, or from an underserved urban or rural community.
• Strong commitment to learning, reliability, and the ability to follow through on assigned research tasks.
