Costing Manager II (EMEA or LATAM)

Fortrea is seeking a dedicated Costing Manager II to join our global Costing Department. In this role, you will support Costing Directors in delivering accurate clinical study costings, ensuring alignment with customized delivery strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Review RFP scope and specifications to initiate and maintain accurate pricing tool updates throughout the cost finalization process.
• Lead the delivery of full proposals, ballpark estimates, and re-costing efforts independently or in collaboration with Costing Directors.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders, including resourcing and clinical operations, to ensure timely project team assignments and accurate budget mapping.
• Review and respond to vendor queries and quotes to ensure pass-through costs are accurately reflected in project budgets.
• Provide mentorship and onboarding training to team members while performing quality checks on budgets and monitoring strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science or business-related field is preferred.
• Moderate industry knowledge combined with experience in budgeting and finance.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to manage time effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a fully remote environment.
