Corporate Attorney

micro1 is seeking an experienced US-based Corporate Attorney to contribute legal expertise to an innovative project focused on training next-generation AI systems. In this role, you will leverage your deep domain knowledge in corporate, commercial, and M&A law to help shape how AI models learn, reason, and perform by providing high-quality, real-world legal input.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze a wide range of corporate, commercial, and M&A documents for accuracy, enforceability, and compliance with US law.
• Draft, review, and provide feedback on contracts, policies, and agreements reflecting best practices in corporate law.
• Translate complex legal concepts into clear, accessible explanations for use in AI system development.
• Identify and summarize key legal issues, trends, and risk areas in business transactions and contract negotiations.
• Contribute real-world legal scenarios and case studies to enhance AI training datasets.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited US law school and active bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate, business, or transactional law, including exposure to M&A, contracts, and risk management.
• Demonstrated experience as outside counsel, in-house corporate counsel, or as a legal consultant to business clients.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex legal issues.
• Proficiency in reviewing and drafting a variety of corporate and commercial agreements.
