Core Engineer

Webbing is a global data MVNO providing enterprise-grade connectivity and IoT services across more than 200 countries. We are looking for a Core Engineer to join our Core Network Engineering team, where you will work hands-on with our live mobile core infrastructure, including global roaming, MVNO operations, and our 5G-SA roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot real network issues across 3G, 4G, and 5G Standalone environments.
• Own technical tickets end-to-end and lead integrations on a live production network.
• Design, scale, and integrate network elements into the existing infrastructure.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations to ensure network stability.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of practical experience as a core engineer in MNO/MVNO environments.
• Deep understanding of 3GPP standards, including GTP-C/U, Diameter, Radius, and 5G-SA architecture (AMF, SMF, UPF).
• Strong knowledge of GRX routing, IPX interconnect operations, and roaming procedures like IR.21.
• Hands-on experience with PGW, PCRF, and GTP Proxy configuration and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in APIs and basic scripting languages such as Python.
