Controller

Pine Services Group is a long-term holding company managing a diverse portfolio of technology services businesses. We are currently seeking a strategic Controller to strengthen our accounting leadership, drive financial rigor, and build scalable processes across our growing, decentralized organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accounting leadership and guidance to Controllers and accounting teams across our operating companies.
• Lead initiatives to strengthen internal controls, support IPO readiness, and enhance financial reporting rigor.
• Establish scalable accounting policies, procedures, and best practices applicable across the portfolio.
• Partner with the CFO on strategic accounting initiatives, acquisitions, and complex financial reporting projects.
• Mentor and develop accounting talent to build stronger capabilities and future leaders within the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in leadership roles such as Controller or Accounting Director.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close, and internal control frameworks.
• Proven experience working across multiple entities, business units, or decentralized organizations.
• Active CPA license and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build credibility and influence across all levels of the company.
