CONTRACT PROJECT MANAGER

Advertising Production Resources is a leading strategic production consultancy seeking a Contract Project Manager to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our Client Solutions team by managing project scopes, resource allocation, and financial health to ensure the successful delivery of advertising projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee account performance, including labor tracking, billing accuracy, risk management, and strict adherence to project scopes.
• Partner with Group Directors and Managing Advisors to develop staffing plans, manage project deliverables, and optimize resource utilization.
• Lead project workflows by defining task difficulty, managing timelines, and ensuring all work is completed within budget and quality constraints.
• Manage financial milestones, review burn reports, and monitor contribution margins to maintain alignment with business objectives.
• Facilitate retrospectives and document lessons learned to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across global teams.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within the advertising or marketing industry.
• PMP certification is highly desired, or a demonstrated commitment to obtaining the certification.
• Strong proficiency in Google Workspace and experience with project management software, such as Deltek products.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust, resolve conflicts, and lead teams with compassion.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining focus and professionalism under tight deadlines.
