Contract Attorney

micro1 is seeking experienced Contract Attorneys to join a pioneering project at the intersection of legal practice and artificial intelligence. This part-time role offers elite legal professionals the chance to shape the future of legal AI by training, evaluating, and refining advanced models through expert-level contract analysis and redlining.

Key responsibilities

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and complex redlining exercises to test AI capabilities.
• Review and assess AI-generated responses to various contract scenarios, providing expert feedback to enhance model performance and precision.
• Develop objective evaluation frameworks and rigorous grading criteria to assess AI performance on legal tasks.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine data guidelines and best practices for AI-driven contract review solutions.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience focused on technology contracts, including MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate complex legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
• Demonstrated commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
