Metropolitan Community College is seeking knowledgeable, engaging, and compassionate instructors to deliver educational content for our Aging, Changing and Engaging as a Family program. We are looking for professionals who can help families and caregivers navigate, plan, and maintain a higher quality of life through expert-led instruction in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver educational sessions focused on healthy aging, caregiving, and daily living skills.
- Teach participants strategies for maintaining physical, mental, and emotional well-being through healthy lifestyle habits.
- Guide learners through complex financial, legal, and benefits planning topics to ensure long-term security.
- Create an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment for adult students.
- Facilitate discussions and provide practical resources to help caregivers manage their responsibilities effectively.
Requirements
- Professional experience or subject-matter expertise in the chosen teaching area.
- Previous experience in teaching, training, facilitation, or public speaking.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex information.
- A genuine passion for lifelong learning and community education.
- Experience working with adult learners, caregivers, or older adults is highly valued.
