Computational Biology Expert

micro1 is seeking a highly skilled Computational Biology Expert to contribute advanced scientific knowledge to a dynamic project focused on training next-generation AI systems. In this role, you will leverage your domain expertise to shape how models learn and reason by providing high-quality, real-world input, with no prior AI experience required.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate complex biological data sets with a focus on medicinal chemistry applications.
• Provide domain-specific feedback to improve the performance and accuracy of AI models in computational biology.
• Evaluate scientific content for clarity and relevance to ensure data aligns with industry standards.
• Develop and review case studies and scenarios based on real-world medicinal chemistry challenges.
• Collaborate asynchronously with other experts to validate findings and refine data curation methodologies.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or MSc) in computational biology, medicinal chemistry, bioinformatics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in medicinal chemistry, including experience with drug discovery or design processes.
• Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of biological datasets and scientific literature.
• Proficiency with bioinformatics tools, cheminformatics platforms, or data analysis software.
• Excellent written communication skills to explain complex scientific concepts clearly.
