Compliance Attorney

micro1 is seeking experienced Compliance Attorneys to join a dynamic project focused on training next-generation AI systems. In this role, you will leverage your professional legal expertise to shape how AI models learn, reason, and perform by providing high-quality, real-world input based on your deep domain knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, review, and annotate complex legal documents and compliance materials to inform AI system development.
• Draft detailed explanations and rationales for compliance scenarios to enhance machine learning data sets.
• Evaluate and critique AI-generated legal outputs for accuracy, logic, and adherence to U.S. compliance standards.
• Collaborate remotely with project leads to provide expert guidance on nuanced regulatory and compliance questions.
• Develop scenario-based content reflecting current trends and challenges in the field of compliance law.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school and an active attorney license in good standing.
• 3-15 years of recent, substantive experience practicing compliance law within the United States.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
• Currently based in the United States and actively practicing in the field of compliance law.
• Experience with judicial clerkships or teaching legal writing is considered a significant advantage.
