Compliance Analyst II

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees. As part of the Compliance Shared Services team, you will help build centralized compliance programs, training, and governance processes that enable Affirm to scale responsibly while protecting the company and its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain compliance training that translates complex regulatory requirements into clear, engaging learning experiences for employees.
• Support the administration of the compliance training program by tracking completions, maintaining records, and preparing audit-ready documentation.
• Partner with Legal and business stakeholders to manage content updates and ensure training materials remain accurate and well-documented.
• Contribute to governance programs, including risk assessments, regulatory change management, and compliance issue tracking.
• Identify opportunities to improve documentation and operational processes to enhance the efficiency of compliance programs.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Compliance, Risk, Audit, or related governance programs, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry.
• Demonstrated experience developing compliance or operational training, including drafting content and managing version control.
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, practical content.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage work and maintain accurate evidence.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across different time zones.
