Communications Security (COMSEC) Manager

emagine Polska is seeking a dedicated Communications Security (COMSEC) Manager to join our international team. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity of our organization's communications by owning the full lifecycle of our cryptographic material.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain cryptographic policies, including approved algorithms, key lengths, and protocols.
• Manage the full lifecycle of cryptographic keys and keying material, from generation and distribution to rotation and destruction.
• Oversee the operation of cryptographic hardware and software, such as hardware security modules (HSMs) and key management systems.
• Act as the COMSEC custodian, maintaining an accurate and auditable inventory of all COMSEC assets.
• Design and validate secure communications architecture for voice, data, and network systems.
• Manage incident response and risk mitigation strategies related to COMSEC activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in information security, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in communications security.
• In-depth knowledge of encryption algorithms such as AES, RSA, and elliptic curve cryptography.
• Hands-on experience with HSMs and key management systems.
• Strong understanding of ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST security frameworks.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
