Commercial Finance Director, EMEA Food

Cielo Executive Search is seeking an exceptional Commercial Finance Director to lead and manage financial operations across the Food vertical in the EMEA region. This pivotal role focuses on driving financial performance, optimizing profitability, and ensuring that financial strategies are fully aligned with broader business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial operations and drive performance across the EMEA Food vertical.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
• Oversee financial modeling, forecasting, and detailed performance analysis.
• Collaborate with senior executives to support strategic decision-making processes.
• Manage and lead diverse teams across multiple geographies effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a commercial finance role within a multinational or regional organization.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Strong proficiency in financial software tools such as One Stream, Hyperion, SAP, or Power BI, alongside advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional certification like CMA or CPA is preferred.
