Collections Agent (Greek+English)

Be in IT is a recruitment company, specialised in sourcing Specialists from the information technology world. Currently, for our client, we are looking for someone in the position Collections Agent (Greek+English).

Your duties:

• Long-term cooperation with a leading international consulting company providing IT services to large and medium-sized businesses across various sectors, including automotive, healthcare, finance, banking, and manufacturing.

• Contacting customers by phone and email regarding overdue invoices and outstanding balances.

• Monitoring payment arrangements and tracking customer account status.

• Investigating and resolving disputed payments in collaboration with internal teams.

• Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and collection activities.

• Sending payment reminders and account statements.

• Escalating more complex issues to senior team members when necessary.

• Ensuring compliance with internal company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Fluent Greek and English (both written and spoken).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Confidence in handling customer communication via phone and email.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.

• Previous experience in customer service, administration, or finance is an advantage but not required.

• Interest in finance, accounts receivable, or business operations.

• ASAP availability is preferred; up to a one-month notice period (effective at the end of the month) is acceptable.
