Cloud Migration Engineer / Architect (R-00199)

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Migration Engineer / Architect to join our team and lead complex migration initiatives within AWS GovCloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Assess enterprise application portfolios and define migration strategies using the 7 Rs framework.
• Design secure, scalable, and highly available AWS GovCloud architectures that meet mission and operational requirements.
• Develop comprehensive migration plans, including runbooks, cutover procedures, and rollback strategies.
• Execute migrations of applications, databases, and data platforms while minimizing downtime and operational disruption.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and deploy standardized environments via Landing Zone Accelerator.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience designing and implementing AWS cloud architectures, specifically within AWS GovCloud.
• Strong proficiency with AWS migration tools such as MGN, DMS, DataSync, and Migration Hub.
• Hands-on experience with EC2, EKS, ECS, and hybrid cloud networking architectures.
• Deep understanding of Zero Trust principles, micro-segmentation, and FIPS-compliant security configurations.
