We are looking for an experienced Cloud Data Migration Architect who combines deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery and Teradata with a passion for designing modern enterprise data platforms.

Project information

📍 Office: Wrocław

🏡 Work model: Hybrid (mostly remote with occasional client visits)

✈️ Travel: approximately 1–2 business trips every two months within the EU

💰 Rate: 150–190 PLN/h (B2B)

What you'll be doing

As a Cloud Data Migration Architect you will:

• Design enterprise-scale cloud data architectures on Google Cloud Platform

• Lead migration programmes from legacy enterprise platforms to BigQuery

• Define migration strategies for Data Lakes, Data Warehouses and hybrid environments

• Drive modernization of complex Teradata environments

• Collaborate with architects, engineering teams and business stakeholders across international projects

• Design modern data pipelines using Databricks and Google Cloud Dataproc

• Optimize SQL performance for high-volume enterprise workloads

• Support data engineering initiatives using Python or Java

• Contribute to architecture governance, security and cloud best practices

• Participate in technical workshops, architecture reviews and strategic migration planning

We're looking for someone who has

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Architecture or Data Migration

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery

• Proven experience migrating enterprise platforms from Teradata

• Experience designing Data Warehouse and Data Lake architectures

• Practical knowledge of Databricks and Google Cloud Dataproc

• Strong SQL optimization and performance tuning skills

• Programming experience in Python or Java

• Understanding of distributed data processing and streaming architectures

• Experience working with global engineering teams

• Excellent communication skills in English

Nice to have

• Oracle / Exadata

• Italian language

• Experience with enterprise modernization programmes

• Data Governance background
