Circuit Design Expert

Micro1 is seeking a highly skilled Circuit Design Expert to contribute to an innovative AI training project focused on electronic hardware, circuit simulation, and programmatic EDA workflows. This role offers the opportunity to apply your engineering expertise to solve complex challenges in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and validate analog, digital, power, mixed-signal, or RF circuits.
• Translate electrical requirements into schematics, netlists, models, HDL, or simulation inputs.
• Run circuit simulation, synthesis, and verification workflows using command-line-accessible tools.
• Use Python to automate simulations, run parameter sweeps, and analyze complex electrical results.
• Review AI-generated circuit solutions to identify technical inaccuracies and develop reproducible reference solutions.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, or a BS with significant professional circuit-design experience.
• Proven experience with real-world circuit designs that have been fabricated, integrated, or taped out.
• Practical proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis.
• Experience with EDA, circuit-simulation, or HDL tools that support CLI, scripting, or programmatic APIs.
• Strong understanding of circuit behavior, component selection, failure modes, and design trade-offs.
