micro1 is seeking a dedicated Child & Youth Abuse Trauma Specialist to contribute specialized clinical knowledge to a high-impact project focused on supporting vulnerable youth. In this role, you will apply your professional expertise to help train next-generation AI systems, ensuring that mental health guidance is nuanced, accurate, and sensitive to the needs of abuse survivors.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and contribute to complex case-based scenarios reflecting the realities of youth abuse victimization.
• Review and assess model-generated mental health guidance to ensure clinical accuracy and safety.
• Develop content outlining best practices for trauma-informed care tailored to young survivors.
• Identify clinical and ethical gaps in AI-generated responses to improve system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure all deliverables meet current mental health standards.

Requirements

• Hold an MD, PhD in Psychology, or PhD in Social Work with completed professional credentials.
• Extensive clinical experience working directly with youth who are victims of abuse.
• Deep expertise in trauma-informed practices and evidence-based interventions for young survivors.
• Active clinical engagement, with a primary focus on supporting abuse victims in your daily practice.
• Strong commitment to upholding ethical standards and safeguarding the well-being of vulnerable populations.
