Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

AddSearch, a brand within saas.group, is seeking a hands-on Chief Technology Officer to lead technical strategy for our enterprise search platform and AI-powered RAG solutions. You will guide a senior team of engineers, balancing the maintenance of a stable, high-SLA core product with the scaling of innovative AI technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive technical architecture for both our mature search platform and evolving RAG solution.
• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of 6 experienced engineers.
• Solve complex technical problems and make critical decisions regarding infrastructure and scaling.
• Manage enterprise contract requirements, security compliance, and SOC 2 audits.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on product roadmaps and operational stability.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong background in technical leadership.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and AI/ML systems, specifically RAG architectures and LLMs.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Python, and AWS.
• Experience navigating enterprise B2B dynamics, including SLAs and security reviews.
• Excellent English communication skills and a collaborative, coaching-oriented leadership style.
