Chief Information Security Officer

Shimi Sp. z o.o. is seeking an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead and oversee the information security strategy for a major European Institution. You will define, implement, and govern the organization's cybersecurity strategy, ensuring the protection of information assets, regulatory compliance, and cyber resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and execute the organization's cybersecurity strategy and enforce security policies.
• Lead enterprise-wide cybersecurity risk assessments and mitigate security threats.
• Ensure compliance with European regulations, standards, and security frameworks.
• Oversee security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response activities.
• Provide strategic direction for secure architecture and infrastructure design.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• 10 to 20 years of professional experience in Information Security and Cybersecurity.
• Proven experience in a CISO, Deputy CISO, or Senior Information Security Management role.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Citizenship of an EU Member State and fluent English skills.
