Chief Accountant

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full accounting and ensure overall tax compliance for the company.
• Prepare annual financial statements and manage annual and half-year audits.
• Participate in the preparation of quarterly financial statements for the stock exchange.
• Ensure timely calculation and submission of all monthly and annual tax declarations, including CIT, VAT, and JPK reports.
• Stay informed of and ensure compliance with evolving government reporting requirements.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Chief Accountant role.
• In-depth knowledge of taxes and current Polish tax legislation, including VAT, WHT, and CIT.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis tools.
• Excellent collaboration skills and a proactive communication style.
