[C3T] Data Platform Engineer (Metadata, DQ)

Software Mind is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to join a dynamic Media & Entertainment project focused on building modern analytical solutions. You will play a key role in developing a cloud-native data ecosystem on AWS, with a specific emphasis on metadata management and data quality, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape organizational data standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain the Metadata Management platform and Data Quality environment.
• Integrate the solution with the lakehouse, data warehouse, domain systems, and analytical tools.
• Automate metadata ingestion, data lineage, data quality monitoring, and DQ reporting.
• Implement and maintain the metamodel and technical mechanisms for enforcing data quality rules.
• Collaborate with Data Governance and Data Engineering teams to drive the adoption of data catalog and DQ mechanisms.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Platform Engineer.
• Proven experience building and maintaining production data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation and integrations, alongside advanced SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience working in an AWS environment.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD practices and GitHub.
• Experience implementing data validation, testing, or quality control mechanisms.
