C++ Engineer with Qt/QML experience (IoT)

Sigma Software is seeking a skilled C++ Engineer to join our team focused on developing innovative IoT-based HVAC solutions. You will play a key role in creating smart climate control devices that enhance comfort and energy efficiency for a wide range of properties.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain user interface functionality using C++, Qt 6, Qt Quick, and QML.
• Take technical ownership of complex features from requirements through to delivery.
• Integrate QML user interfaces with C++ backend components and embedded hardware.
• Investigate and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory issues, and integration defects.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial C++ development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Qt 6, Qt Quick, and QML.
• Deep knowledge of modern C++ (C++17/20), memory management, and concurrency.
• Experience developing UI applications for embedded Linux devices.
• Practical experience with CMake and writing automated unit tests.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English proficiency.
