C# Developer

AgileEngine is an Inc. 5000 company that creates award-winning software for Fortune 500 brands and trailblazing startups across 17+ industries. We are currently seeking a skilled C# Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of an advanced application-protection product.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of Dotfuscator, a C# and IL-focused application-protection product.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement product changes and solve complex technical problems.
• Build a deep understanding of obfuscation and runtime-protection contexts and their interaction with customer builds.
• Break down implementation tasks and proactively seek clarification when requirements or technical approaches are unclear.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools while maintaining full responsibility for reviewing and verifying the resulting code.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on C# software engineering experience at a mid-level proficiency.
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to break problems into clear steps and identify knowledge gaps.
• Proven ability to supervise AI-assisted development, review generated code, and ensure intended results.
• Willingness to learn and contribute outside the primary stack, including C++ packages, front-end tasks, and CI/CD.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency for effective team collaboration.
