C Developer / Software Engineer (C Programming)

Red Global is seeking experienced C Developers to join a large-scale migration project focused on transitioning complex on-premises applications to a modern cloud-based infrastructure. You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and compatibility of legacy systems as they move into the cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, maintain, and refactor existing C codebases to ensure cloud compatibility.
• Optimize application performance and stability within the target cloud infrastructure.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex system-level issues using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps teams to resolve migration challenges.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with legacy system transitions.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in C programming (ISO C / ANSI C).
• Deep understanding of memory management, pointers, and data structures.
• Extensive experience working within Linux/Unix environments.
• Proficiency in debugging tools such as GDB and Valgrind.
• Solid knowledge of build tools including GCC, Make, and CMake.
