Business Systems Analyst - Claims

Mutual of Omaha is seeking a dedicated Business Systems Analyst to join our team and support our group claims insurance operations. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that our systems are optimized for efficiency, compliance, and a superior user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Create comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including meeting notes, requirement gathering, and implementation support.
• Develop a deep understanding of departmental business processes and workflows to provide effective administrative and production support.
• Assist in the creation of test plans and scripts, performing manual or automated testing to ensure all functional requirements are met.
• Communicate complex information effectively to cross-functional teams and stakeholders through both written and verbal channels.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in business analysis, project management, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of business and technical processes, including familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Proven ability to organize and deliver projects in a timely manner with high attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment with reliable high-speed internet access.
