Business Intelligence Engineer

We are looking for a talented Business Intelligence Engineer to bridge the gap between technical data engineering and business analysis, helping us drive innovation through trustworthy data.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain impactful dashboards that serve as living products for business decision-making.
• Build and maintain dbt models and robust Python ETL pipelines to ensure high-quality data ingestion.
• Perform end-to-end business analysis to uncover insights regarding retention, subscriptions, and content performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable data solutions.
• Ensure data quality and observability across the entire platform, taking full ownership of your code and deliverables.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a BI Engineer, Data Engineer, or Analytics Engineer with strong technical depth.
• Expertise in SQL (PostgreSQL) and Python for data manipulation, API integration, and pipeline development.
• Proficiency with dbt and production-level experience with BI/visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or Superset.
• Strong understanding of AI best practices and a proactive approach to integrating AI tools into daily workflows.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with Git, code reviews, and modern software engineering practices in a remote environment.
