Business Intelligence Consultant (Excel)

Micro1 is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Consultant to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will apply your deep domain expertise in Excel to help train next-generation AI systems, shaping how models learn and perform through high-quality, real-world data inputs.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage advanced Excel skills to structure, analyze, and present complex data for AI model training purposes.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand objectives and deliver insightful business intelligence solutions.
• Prepare, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure high levels of data accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and document BI workflows while maintaining clear communication regarding project progress.
• Create detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Excel to support ongoing AI training initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in business intelligence or analytics with a primary focus on Excel.
• Exceptional proficiency in advanced Excel features, including Power Query, PivotTables, VBA, and data modeling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex insights to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing time and deliverables efficiently.
• Solid understanding of business processes and the ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
