Business Intelligence (BI) Developer I - QUICKSIGHT

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join our Data Science and Advanced Analytics division, focusing on designing and delivering high-impact dashboards within a secure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Amazon QuickSight dashboards and datasets to support federal healthcare contracts.
• Translate complex business and contract requirements into intuitive, actionable visual analytics and reports.
• Perform rigorous data validation and quality control to ensure all dashboard measures and calculations are accurate.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to refine dashboard functionality and user experience.
• Create and maintain Tableau visualizations to support diverse organizational projects as needed.
• Document technical specifications, user guidance, and project materials to ensure clear communication of analytic solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related quantitative discipline.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining visualization solutions in Amazon QuickSight.
• Proven ability to create complex calculated fields, parameters, and interactive dashboard elements.
• Familiarity with Tableau dashboard development and best practices in data visualization.
• Strong attention to detail with experience documenting technical requirements based on stakeholder interviews.
