About the role
Surveily is an EU-native, edge-first AI workplace-safety company, freshly backed by a new round of VC funding. Our computer-vision platform helps industrial, manufacturing, warehousing and heavy-industry clients across Europe prevent incidents by detecting hazards in real time — a missing hard hat, a person in a restricted zone, an unsafe vehicle movement — never a named individual. We handle the full go-to-market motion, combining product, engineering and commercial expertise to bring privacy-first safety AI to the European market.

As the company scales, we're looking for a Business Development Representative to build our outbound engine across international markets. This is a hunter role: you'll open doors at enterprise and mid-market accounts, run high-quality outbound, and turn cold prospects into qualified opportunities that fuel the sales pipeline.

The challenge
Surveily competes in a category we can't out-spend — so we out-position it, and we win by getting in front of the right buyers before anyone else does. Great product and sharp messaging only matter if the right EHS and operations leaders are actually in the room.

That's the gap you close. We need someone who can build pipeline from scratch — identify the right accounts, craft the outreach, run the cadence, and hold consultative conversations that connect a plant's safety pain to a concrete outcome. This is not a role for someone waiting on inbound leads. We're looking for a disciplined, resilient prospector who treats an empty pipeline as a problem to solve and a qualified meeting as the win.

What you will do

  • Own and execute an outbound strategy targeting enterprise and mid-market clients across Europe, the UK and the Middle East.

  • Identify, engage and nurture key decision-makers — from CxOs and EHS Directors to Safety Managers and Digital Transformation leaders.

  • Run the prospect-to-SQL lifecycle end to end — prospecting, qualification, and clean hand-off to a BDM or Account Executive.

  • Build pipeline from scratch through cold calling, cold email, LinkedIn outreach, account-based prospecting and networking.

  • Drive consultative conversations that link business pain points to tangible, measurable outcomes.

  • Develop strategic pursuit plans and account maps for target logos.

  • Collaborate with presales, delivery and commercial leaders to position winning solutions.

  • Partner with marketing and the wider GTM team to co-create campaigns, events and thought-leadership content.

What you have

  • 3–5 years in Business Development, new-business sales or consultative selling — ideally within safety solutions, industrial digital solutions, IT services, software development or digital transformation.

  • A proven track record of proactively generating new business through cold calling, cold email, LinkedIn outreach, account-based prospecting and networking.

  • A hunter mindset — a strong drive to find, engage and convert new clients rather than relying on inbound or existing accounts.

  • Comfort running high volumes of outbound activity and building pipeline from scratch across target industries and geographies.

  • Exposure to complex, high-value services engagements (€500K–€1M+) and multi-stakeholder sales processes, and the ability to qualify them.

  • Experience selling software, digital transformation, engineering or consulting services to enterprise and mid-market organisations.

  • The ability to engage senior decision-makers (C-level, VP, Director) and clearly articulate business value, ROI and transformation opportunities.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, storytelling and presentation skills.

  • A self-starter with high energy, resilience and persistence — you overcome objections and open doors others can't.

  • Fluent English (C1+). Polish is not required.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with AI and data-driven commerce, personalisation or analytics-led transformation.

  • Familiarity with the modern sales stack — HubSpot, Apollo, Lemlist, Lusha, Salesforce, Claude.

  • An understanding of the manufacturing or industrial environment.

Your team
You'll work shoulder to shoulder with the Business Development and marketing teams and directly with Surveily's founder and CEO, Wojciech. You'll sit at the front of the funnel — the person who fills it — and hand qualified opportunities to our closers. Wojciech will support your growth through regular 1:1s, working with OKRs and a Growth Review, and you'll shape the outbound playbook together as the motion matures.

What we offer

  • Compensation: PLN 11,000–16,000 net on a B2B invoice.

  • A dynamic startup environment built on high effort and high results — where you can grow 2–4x faster than in a corporate setting.

  • Continuous feedback — you always know whether you're heading in the right direction.

  • A training budget, with the option to increase it.

  • Co-financing of private medical care and a Multisport package (50%).

  • Team and company-wide integration events.

  • Fully-remote work

  • Work tools: laptop and phone.

  • Real influence over how Surveily builds and scales its international outbound engine.

Recruitment process

After you send us your CV, we'll ask you to fill in a short application form. Among other things, we'll ask you to:

  • Describe — in concrete numbers — an outbound campaign or new-business win you're proud of: what you did, how you built the pipeline, and what the results were (500–1000 characters).

  • Describe a situation in which you opened a difficult account or overcame a tough objection. What was your approach, and what was the outcome?

We always reply, regardless of the decision — within one week at most.

Stage 1 – Screening. A phone/remote conversation in a competency-based model (situation–action–result). We'll talk about your outbound approach, the tools and channels you've used, examples of cold outreach that worked, and how you build and qualify pipeline.

Stage 2 – Competency interview. We go deeper into how you plan pursuits, run high-volume outbound, handle rejection, and manage multi-stakeholder conversations.

Stage 3 – Final interview. An online meeting with the CEO. We'll check role fit, values alignment, and whether there's good "flow" between us.

Feedback and — in the optimistic scenario — an offer to work together!
