Business Analyst/Product Owner - Payments

VISTULO is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst/Product Owner with deep expertise in the payments domain to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of high-performance capital markets solutions for a top North American bank, taking full ownership of product delivery from requirements gathering to final implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage requirements for payment message handling, including SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 (MX) formats.
• Collaborate with business and operations teams to optimize payment processing and settlement workflows.
• Translate complex business needs into actionable Jira tickets and manage the product backlog.
• Hold the development team accountable for quality and ensure on-time delivery of software solutions.
• Conduct acceptance testing to verify that delivered features meet the established requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Product Owner specifically within the payments industry.
• Expert knowledge of SWIFT, payment rails, and the interchange between them.
• Hands-on experience with payment processing and business operations related to settlement.
• Strong execution mindset with the ability to drive solutions independently.
• Ability to maintain a 5-6 hour overlap with US Eastern business hours.
