Business Analyst (timezone: CET or NALA)

Avenga is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join Roche Pharma Global Technical Operations, focusing on the Enterprise Recipe Management initiative. This role is essential for identifying high-value business opportunities and designing solutions that bridge the gap between complex manufacturing processes and technical system capabilities within a global pharmaceutical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interview stakeholders and domain leads to identify business opportunities and support the creation of robust business cases.
• Design and document business process flows and user stories for core applications and integrations across MES, LIMS, ERP, and PLM systems.
• Create functional specifications and technical documentation for system configurations while ensuring GxP compliance.
• Facilitate alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure a shared understanding of data flows and architectural design.
• Identify and support the implementation of Generative AI and machine learning use cases within the manufacturing context.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience as a Functional Architect or Business Analyst in the pharmaceutical or Life Sciences sector.
• Hands-on experience with product recipe design and parameter definition in manufacturing systems like PLM, MES, or ERP.
• Proven track record in complex system integration projects and a strong analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
• Availability between 3 PM and 7 PM CET to ensure collaboration between European and US-based teams.
