Business Analyst – Tax & Systems Migration

Awareson is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join an international Tax Technology and Systems Transformation project. You will play a pivotal role in migrating CIT and Partnership Tax calculations from OneSource Legacy to the new NextGen OneSource platform, working across complex business processes and system integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document comprehensive business and system requirements.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external solution providers to ensure project alignment.
• Analyse existing systems, processes, and application dependencies to facilitate a smooth transition.
• Identify system dependencies, risks, and potential migration issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support solution design, testing, and implementation phases to ensure a successful platform migration.

Requirements

• 4–5+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst.
• Proven track record in system migration, transformation, or enterprise implementation projects.
• Strong ability to translate complex business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
• Excellent communication skills in English and experience working in international, cross-functional environments.
• Proficiency with project management and documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
