Business Analyst / Product Owner

Addepto is a leading AI consulting and data engineering company recognized by Forbes as one of the top 10 AI firms worldwide. We are seeking a Business Analyst / Product Owner to join a senior delivery team focused on the modernization of a business-critical platform within the aviation industry.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze existing solutions by reviewing Java/Spring code and Oracle schemas to reverse-engineer business rules and logic.
• Map current operational processes and identify pain points, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Produce comprehensive As-Is and To-Be documentation, including process maps, data-flow diagrams, and gap analyses.
• Design target processes and define functional specifications for portals, including user journeys and wireframes.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clear user stories and acceptance criteria are defined for the engineering team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Systems Analyst, particularly in legacy modernization or migration projects.
• Strong technical proficiency, including the ability to read code and write SQL to verify data and logic.
• Expertise in process modeling (BPMN) and documenting complex business rules.
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1) to facilitate workshops with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with modern cloud architectures and data platforms.
